Sooooooooo, school started again and I'm not a happy camper. Being a senior scares me, but art helps with that a ton! So anyway, still making art, still selling art, and still loving art.

WOW I'M POOPED!

So this is my first FULL week back in Pewaukee since the 4th of July! I was in Door County for about a week, then I was home for 2 days before I left for 8 days on a camping trip in the back country of Colorado. When I got home from that, I had another two days to pack for dance camp. After a week of dance camp, I spent 4 days at my Grandmas house in Racine. Now I am leaving in 2 days for a dance competition in Chicago but for now, I have to catch up on my art a little.
while I was in Door County, I actually spent a lot of time in art galleries and doing art related things.

I have also been working a lot with different medias. I am very used to just using mainly acrylic paints, but I have been experimenting with colored pencils, markers, and watercolors. I have also done a few photo shoots since I will be doing a photography portfolio this year.

Vacation Fun

Im currently in Door County with my family and ive been really inspried by all the shops and beaches here. Ive taken a lot of neat photos and also done some arty things in the one day I've been here. Today we went to a fun art studio called "Hands on" and paited pottery. I painted a dish to go along with the nautical theme to our house and my siblings painted a few other things. I am hoping to take more photos while in here and I will post those, as well as a few sketches from my sketch book.

I've been really busy lately with poms and Summerfest and all (scary to say I'm only gonna get busier every week). But anyway, the things I've done with my art in these past weeks is really trying to sell it. I have many offers right now but the ones I like the most are the commissions I have been doing for people. Just today I finished and sold a painting to a girl who's dog died and she wanted a painting to remember him by. I'm still working in a few others but that's all put on hold for a bit because I'm currently packing for vacation in Door County!

Underachiever

So I feel bad that I haven't done much of my summer homework this first two weeks of summer but this week I was inspired a bit by some random things. I'm not sure if this is exactly art but I decided to dye my hair pink and I had to dilute the dye with other dyes to make it lighter than when I bought it. But it only lasted for a day because my parents got pretty mad and told me I was grounded until I fixed it. Also this week was my boyfriends grad. Party so I drew him a picture of us for a present. That's basically what I've been up to in the art world.
